LYRICS ROOM
BAD GIRL – October 2009
Recorded by Darrel Williams at Vishon Music, mixed by Jakob Ward at Dreamstate Studio and mastered by Tyler Owen at Closerlook Studio.
This record represents a new birth in my music. It is a much lighter weight than the previous records in terms of content. It is lyrically and rhythmically driven, but it's very organic. It's joy with a little bit of pain, falling in love and funny stories about real life idiosyncrasies. Living life in bliss and happiness and not being afraid to write about that gave birth to a whole new world for me. Even so I manage to purge a song about the first and last visit to my Mother's grave ("When You Go Home Today") and of course, I've had enough pain in my life to fill volumes of music libraries, so there will always be that material coming out of my heart. Sometimes I think that's what it takes to be a singer/songwriter. However, I think if you like music for its enjoyment, you'll love this record, it's "intelligent groove". It’s a neo-soul, R&B, Soul Pop solid effort.

LIVE AT THE OAKLAND – 2006 (Sold Out)
Recorded at The Oakland Theater in Youngstown, OH, by Closerlook Studios www.closerlookrecording.com. Mixed and Mastered by Tyler Owen.
This is an intimate solo portrait. It contains some new material that appears on Not Finished Yet and it is one of my favorite ways to perform. I love to move my way thru the audience with a voice and my strings. I am a bit candid in this record as well, I hope you enjoy the banter.

RUSHMORE - 2003
Recorded at Closerlook Studios by Tyler Owen www.closerlookrecording.com. Mixed by Mark Owen, Mastered at Sterling. First single, "No Fool" released to 1,300 international radio stations with plays on 60%.
RushMore is a mountain to be topped for sure. The blood, sweat and tears that went into this record may never be relived. It was a true joy to work with Tyler on this and all the other wonderful people that made it possible, including some heroes like Joey Hanna (Coach), Joe Rohan, Phil Ajjarapu, Shawn Appleton and many others. This is an eclectic collection of songs that I have written over quite some time. Many are deep and dear to me. "Bury Me" is about my Mother's funeral on a cold winter day. These are tales of a journey that I don't regret, and have painfully shaped me into the person I am today. At that same time, it moves and grooves and gracefully powers its way thru to the end. A true masterpiece in production.

MY HEART - 2001
Recorded at PDR Studios in Akron. First Single "Scattered". Released to 500 AAA stations with a 60% play rate. Second Single "Lullaby" released to 1,000 contemporary stations, charted at #14 in Power Source Magazine.
This is my song to the world in a sense, here I am, here are some of the things that I dream up and paint onto tape. I don't often tell what my songs are about, but I wanted to pick a few to let you know what I have seen. "My Heart" is written out of a sad situation where my and my cousin's friends were murdered just 30 minutes after we left the building they were in and how I pondered my purpose here after escaping that for no apparent reason. "City of Wrong" is my song about how we hurt people we love even when we don't intend to. I wrote this record pretty much note for note and I was able to record it over a long period of time which allowed me to rework things at my leisure. I listen to it about once or twice a year and find that I am moved. I am still in love with this record.

EP ROBIN STONE – 1998 (Sold Out)
R
ecorded at Beachwood Recording Studios.
My first attempt at this thing called music. My old drummer Yemi helped me out on this one… I put down my first batch of what I thought were tunes I would put on a full length record as an EP, demo, business card. I won’t let anyone listen to this who doesn’t already own one… HAHAHA
